We are a multi-generational family business; our clients can be confident that their financial plans will not be interrupted by changes to their planning team. FOUNDING PARTNER | CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER, ELDER PLANNING COUNSELOR

Where it all began
I began my career in financial services in 1996 at Pacific Coast Savings Credit Union. At the time, I was balancing a full-time role while raising two young daughters, and I completed my studies in the evenings to earn my Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2004.
After more than a decade with Coast Capital Savings, I decided to build something of my own. I launched Prosperity Planning in 2005 with the goal of creating a more personal, relationship-driven approach to financial planning.
Over the years, I’ve continued to deepen my expertise, including earning my Elder Planning Counselor designation, but the foundation of my work has always remained the same. It’s about understanding people, and helping them make thoughtful decisions for the future.
What lights my fire
One of the most meaningful parts of my work is helping clients navigate estate planning.
I’ve seen firsthand the difference a well thought-out plan can make. It’s not just about minimizing taxes or avoiding probate, it’s about reducing stress for families, creating clarity, and ensuring that a client’s wishes are carried out the way they intended.
I also enjoy working closely with business owners. Running a family business comes with its own set of challenges, and I understand that from experience. Whether it’s structuring corporate assets, planning for succession, or thinking through long-term retirement goals, I work alongside clients and their other professionals to create a plan that feels coordinated and intentional.
Our approach is never transactional. We build relationships over time, and I take pride in being a steady, trusted resource for the families and business owners we work with.

Where it all began
I joined Prosperity Planning in 2013, settling into the Westshore after spending time living abroad in both China and England.
This work has always been personal to me. Growing up, I saw the impact my mom, Dale, had on the families she works with. It was never just about investments or numbers. It was about helping people feel more secure, more confident, and more in control of their future. That perspective shaped how I approach this work today.
I earned my life insurance and mutual fund licenses in 2016, my Certified Health Insurance Specialist designation in 2018, and my Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in 2023. Each step has deepened my ability to support clients in a thoughtful, well-rounded way.
What lights my fire
At the core of what I do is helping people feel comfortable and clear when it comes to their finances.
I never want clients to feel like they’re being spoken at or left unsure about what decisions they’re making. My goal is for you to understand your plan, feel confident in it, and know that it reflects what matters most to you.
Working with families is especially meaningful to me. As a mom of two young boys, I understand how quickly life moves and how many competing priorities there are. I know what it feels like to want to do the right things, while also trying to be present for your family today.
That’s why our approach isn’t transactional. We build relationships over time, and we’re there through the different stages of life. The exciting ones, and the challenging ones.
Giving back is also an important part of who we are as a firm. We support a number of organizations in our community, and I love helping clients incorporate that into their plans in a way that feels meaningful to them.
A few things you may not know about me
I taught English in Beijing, China when I was 18
I spent my honeymoon exploring Tanzania with my husband and his parents (they were married there!)
I’ve completed two half marathons and hope to run a full one someday
How my friends describe me
Someone who is organized and thoughtful, and who genuinely cares about the people around her. I tend to take on a lot, but I also bring energy and enthusiasm to what I do. I’m the person who will say yes to something a little ambitious, like a 100km charity ride, and figure it out along the way.
How my clients describe me
Clients often tell me they feel at ease in our conversations. They appreciate that things are explained clearly, without pressure or confusion.
I take the time to understand what matters most to them, and we build a plan that reflects that. The goal is always for clients to walk away feeling more confident, knowing they have someone in their corner.
